Shaun Toralde is the Global Geothermal Segment Leader of Weatherford, based in Houston, Texas. He finished Bachelor of Science in Geothermal Engineering from Negros Oriental State University (NORSU), Philippines in 1999, and then served as Chair of the Geothermal Engineering Department. He joined Weatherford in 2005 to drill geothermal wells with air in the Philippines and Indonesia and then helped pioneer deepwater managed pressure drilling (MPD) on drillships. Shaun has served as in various global positions in Weatherford and in industry organizations and was an SPE Distinguished Lecturer. He has various patents and papers on advanced technologies to his name.
