Dara Haynes Fergusson is the Chief Energy Conservation Officer in the Energy Conservation and Renewable Energy Unit of the Ministry of Energy and Business and has been at the ministry since 2012. In this role, she focuses on the implementation and monitoring of policy, legislation and strategies to accelerate the adoption of sustainable energy technologies and practices. Over the years, Dara has also worked on solar photovoltaic projects and energy efficiency retrofits within the public service that has resulted in energy reduction and savings. She is a Registered Engineer and a LEED Accredited Professional (BD&C) with a B.Sc. in Civil with Environmental Engineering and a M.Sc. in Building Services Engineering with Sustainable Energy.
